As a woma People often ask me, “What made you decide to become a colon therapist?” A very valid question, one which deserves an explanation. My first response is always, “My own healing journey.” My digestive issues stem as far back as early childhood. As long as I can remember, I always experienced constipation, but didn’t realize that it was even an issue. Everyone has different bowel habits, so I thought. Upon looking back, I now know that I was severely constipated as a child and all through my adult life up until my late 40’s. For many years I was plagued with issues of depression, severe PMS, poor sleep and/or insomnia, infertility, parasites, Candida, fatigue, allergies, sugar cravings, many colds and flu’s, poor memory and a general lack of real joy. I knew there must be a way to break free from these issues. I went to many alternative health practitioners, found some relief with some of my complaints, but kept hitting a plateau with no permanent or long lasting results. I could fill a pharmacy with all the herbal remedies I took and never finished. I had complete faith in these modalities and kept searching. Then in the year 2000, I started getting colonics! What an amazing and wonderful journey that took me on. I knew then and there that I had found something that made total and complete sense which would serve to enhance my health and be compatible with all the other healing modalities I was so fond of. At that time I was working for a Women’s Holistic Health center in Boulder as a patient liaison and office manager. When that door closed a new one opened, called Radiant Health of Boulder. |
